Superhero, featuring vocals by South African songstress Lea Heart, is the second single from Starvhyn’s debut album, “Starvhyn is Dead. Long Live Starvhyn” and a followup to their LGBTQ+ anthem Prism.

Superhero is an electropop dance single that pulses along to the powerhouse pipes of Lea Heart. The aggressive stabs and punchy drums are glued together by Heart’s smooth vocals, resulting in an unconventional and refreshing summer pop jam.

The song outlines the struggles of dealing with mental illness in a relationship. Being there for someone isn’t always easy, especially when you’re fighting your own battles. Superhero is about defeating your own enemies and letting the love in.

The singled is backed with Jaxee's remix of Superhero, which trades the erratic drums and synth stabs for a four-on-the-floor beat with club friendly bass line. Jaxee also pares down and morphs the vocals, turning the song into a twisting jam to get lost in.
