Prism is a dance anthem that flirts with contemporary electropop but has a sonic density not often seen in commercial pop. The four on the floor beat and driving arpeggiated bass propel the song forward, with lighter, melodic synths sparkling on top. Holding it all together is Frida Vamos’ fragile, emotive vocals.
The song’s thematic core revolves around LGBTQIA+ empowerment and love. To strengthen this LBGTQIA+ connection, all proceeds of sales from Starvhyn’s official Bandcamp will go towards both The Trevor Project and Transgender Law Center.
